day two-hundred-and-eighty-seven - watusi

and the many colours of my prismacolour set

this guy's impressive horns appear to be a deformity but apparently it's pretty standard for them to reach up to 8 feet! and the horns in that picture are relatively small, considering this watusi exists. that is just so mental.

their huge horns are laced with blood vessels and help them to stay cool. like a toucan's beak, or a human's split-system.
