this guy's impressive horns appear to be a deformity but apparently it's pretty standard for them to reach up to 8 feet! and the horns in that picture are relatively small, considering this watusi exists. that is just so mental.

their huge horns are laced with blood vessels and help them to stay cool. like a toucan's beak, or a human's split-system.

to spice up part three of the 'drawing from ceramic milk jugs i saw in frankie magazine' series i have decided to test myself - for drawing an animal a day is not enough of a challenge! i also challenged myself to come up with the worst animal puns imaginable (punimals...). the winner?

day forty-three - cow

in primary school, cows were my favourite animals - so much so that i did a project on them and presented it on a milk carton. super cool.

no offence to cows, but WHAT was i thinking? obviously i was oblivious of sun bears and chameleons and finches and red pandas at that time.

cows are pretty cool (and nutjobbish), but how could they have ever beat out this as my fave?
