day two-hundred-and-thirty - xmas elephant
on the eighth day before christmas i made an (indian) elephant card:

day two-hundred-and-twenty-eight - xmas ostrich
on the tenth day before xmas i made an ostrich card:
and that's all i did, because i feel like ostrich guano (i.e. crap)...
waaaah etc.
see you tomorrow! (going to have to start doing two to three cards a day to fill my quota of 22 cards!)

day two-hundred-and-twenty-seven - xmas tamandua
dang i wish i hadn't started this series with the best drawing. oh well!
on the eleventh day until christmas, i made a tamandua card:
much like my first subject of the series, tamanduas are hilarious. they also have tiny heads and love to ride each other (and face off to lemurs i guess).
i really wanted to see one of these guys in south america, but sadly did not. guess i'll just have to go back... WHAT A SHAME!

i'm going to turn 'the twelve days of christmas' on its butt and do an xmas countdown series! and so the twelve days of christmas cards series of blog posts begins...
on the twelfth day before christmas, i made an alpaca card:
you can almost squeeze those lyrics into the actual song. and yes the twelve days of christmas should start on christmas day, but i don't care.
i'm full of 80s christmas joy, and laughter at stupid alpacas. so so stupid. and they are so fat of wool. and mental... to wit!
